Pictures say a thousand words: most of them UNTRUE LIES
Here's some screenshots taken from the mod through it's continuing development. Many of the earlier new textures have since been replaced with improved ones. I've recently been attempting new shield patterns from scratch for several units, although they may not be present in the current batch of screenshots.
Have patience whilst my bandwidth is used up showing all these screenshots.

(Note: Most of the units here have since been updated).
Romans - Modified look, and possibly the odd-new unit hidden amongst them
The Julii Early Republican Army versus Carthage and it's Roman/Latin Infantry: Redone shields from scratch (mostly).
I actually lost this battle.
Won the rematch though!
Most recent Julii Principes giving those Libyan Spearmen a good stabbing.
Updated Latin Infantry and Iberian allies run for their lives.
Another stinking cesspit of a Gaul settlement falls under the control of the Romans.
A Bit of German Bashing: 2000 years from now and they'll be friends.
Thunder, thunder, Thunder-Cataphracts HO!: Cataphracts, paid in Roman denarii, give some Galatian swordsmen a lesson in not standing in front of a heavy cavalry charge.
The Heroic Scipii Legionary 1st Cohort: Putting the villainous child murdering Carthies to the sword, before going on to burn down their houses and raping their women-folk no doubt. Bless those Romans!
When wearing purple didn't mean you were gay: Senate adopts a white tunic and purple shield motifs. Praetorians still wear big camp purple togs though.

Gauls & Ghosts, and other screenshots: (anyone get the reference? Nope, didn't think so).
The ever hopeful Gauls: lining up to get slaughtered, again.
Sneaky Gauls! Barbarians are experts at hiding in woodland, as well as long grass. Their ability to hide makes them extra dangerous, although the main usage of the skill is for them to lie dormant and hidden from the womenfolk so they can peer up their skirts without detection (and a slap in the face).
More Nobles butching one another:
Arms in the air if you stink of BO.
Iberians: Now looking dandy in white. All Iberians reskinned, some again after this screenshot was taken.
Onagers: Always the last to leave the battlefield. I'd run if I were you chaps: the rest of your army has.
Ptolemaic Egyptians: now with a hint of Greek culture about them:
Thracians: sporting the precursor to the Ku Klux Klan headgear.
Battle of the Legionaries - Numidian imitation legionaries trade insults and blows with their Early Roman Republic counterparts.
Libyan Auxiliaries thrust their spears in the faces of their whiter-than-white Carthaginian-loyal counterparts.
Some barbarian mercenaries seen wearing their lovely white outfits after rolling around in their own shit for several hours.
Carthage:
Carthaginian allies - Libyan Spearmen and some well armoured but still barbaric celtic spear auxiliaries:
Noble Intentions: Noble Cavalry, poking sticks into one another.
Roman/Latin Infantry, consisting of young and pauper-esque men from the Roman penisula, tackle some spear wielding Libyans who got lost on the way to the Supermarket that morning.
A Postcard sized look at some of Carthage's new unit roster (all units since updated and less shit looking).
