How can you be allergic to metals, do you eat them?

no no.. I think its zinc or something. Whenever I wear a certain belt without a t-shirt tucked into my jeans, i get a nasty reaction where the belt buckle touches my skin, the same happens with a chain I used to wear.

A mate of mine had a habit of going commando. But that soon stopped when it turned out the studs on jeans brought out eczema whenever it touched his skin. Also happened with his belt. And whenever his ankle-length leather coat touched his skin.
After going to the hospital and undergoing tests, turns out he's also allergic to green paint too.
Not orange.
Not red.
Not blue.
But green.

Quite a few people are allergic to metal piercings apparently. Piercings are often available in different metals though. I wonder why people are allergic to metal though. And peanuts. What the hell is that about?

I ate a large jar of peanut butter the other week within two or three days and I came out in a rash afterwards. I think I might be a bit allergic to high quantities of peanuts

Red paint.
Anyways, I'm allergic to peanuts. It sucks when you go to a curry house and have to be careful what you eat.
Pfft.
Fuckin' peanuts.
