The CKy gig was fucking amazing!
They opened with '96 Quite Bitter Beings'...you'll know it if you watch Jackass or own Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3.
Chad Ginsburg (2nd geetarist) brought 3 guitars with him on the tour. He broke 2 last night and said that we should feel privileged. He said that he would never do the 'bitch toss' ever again...after wrecking so many. But he said "Fuck it...I don't pay for my guitars. I'm sponsored by Ibanez"
Vern (bass) was hit in the head by something, then challenged whoever to come on stage. They did. This kid walked over to the mic and made a complete fool out of himself. Chad saw that we weren't impressed. Proceeded to get him in a head lock and threw him off side stage.
CKy/Jackass regular Raab Himself made an appearance. Helped them to sing the Christmas Song. Drank JD from the bottle and just sat at the back.
They played for 3 hours.
I'm still deaf.
Well worth the £8.
Wonder how much they'll cost next year.
Maybe a bigger venue.

Yeah, they're decent guitars. Not the best in the world though. This is the Ibanez that I own: This is the Epiphone SG Gothic I also own: And I've just ordered this...BC Rich Warlock:

I've seen those BC Rich guitars advertised in Metal Hammer and such like in the past, but never heard anyone ever mention them, so I figured they must be crap or something. It does look a bit 'big hair rock'-esque. The second guitar, the Gothic one, looks the best in my 'completely baffled by the whole guitar thing' opinion.
Do you have a suitably loud amp and lots of distortion pedals too? But more importantly, can you play AC/DC on those things?

Do you have a suitably loud amp and lots of distortion pedals too? But more importantly, can you play AC/DC on those things? Hell yeah... The 3 guitars for 3 types of music. My Ibanez is for CKY, Funeral For A Friend-esque rock. The Epiphone is for punk *strung differently to the Ibanez*. My BC Rich will be for AC/DC, Metallica and the like. Anyways, went to see The Darkness on Wednesday. They rate 25/10 on my fucking-amazing-ometer! They had Young Heart Attack and Ten Benson supporting. The best thing about this gig, I didn't even pay for the ticket! Twas a freebie. The next gig, I will pay a shitload to see them...unless it's another freebie!
