Feeder's latest album, released 31.01.05 - what do we all think of it then?
I've not actually bought it yet mind. Waiting for, er, someone from Feeder Central to donate generously to the Feeder Mecca. Maybe I should just pop onto Play.com or somewhere cheap online and buy a copy instead.
But what about you 'dedicated' Feeder people - I assume you all rushed to the shops on the day of the release and bought it with the same kind of excitement that a child experiences on Christmas day as they jump into the pile of presents and mercilessly rips open the biggest one, even if it isn't their's?

Shocking!
Excuses: I want at least 2 unique excuses from each person guilty of not buying it!

I haven't bought it because... I'm saving up for an MP3 player. I might have maybe, possibly, slightly, illegally obtained it before release.

Just got my copy today: CD & DVD edition. Very impressive packaging, and only £9 online. I was actually a bit disappointed when it arrived and the book 'Screen Burn' by Charlie Brooker didn't arrive considering I ordered them both from Amazon at the same time, and PTS was expected to come later, I would have prefered the album was delayed instead! So my enthusiasm wasn't great for the Feeder album.
But a bit of a quick listen, and I'm quite impressed actually. A touch of Echo Park over-production with the pensive melancholy and strangely uplifting juxtaposition displayed in the Comfort in Sound album. Certainly not a classic album though. And it's bound to grate soon. Maybe I'll do a bit of a review later.
In the meantime, for anyone still doubting the fantastic-ness of Feeder, especially after this release, play their classic b-side 'Undivided' on your iPod and you'll feel all warm and cheerful about them again.

It was a tricky question too - "What was the name of Feeder's previous album".

I love those adverts! Does the release of number III mean that II and I are no longer the best albums in the world?! Does that mean we can sue for false advertising on the previous 2 albums?
