It's old news now but they're currently on their final tour, having announced it will be their last, that is to say, they will be splitting after this tour. No more 3 Colours Red.
This time they're all still friends though.
I saw them in Manchester on Wednesday and they were a-mazing. This will be the first time I've ever seen a band twice on the same tour (I think) as I'm off to Nottingham on Saturday too. ;D
If there are any 3CR fans here, I was disappointed with The Union of Souls when it was released, but recently I'm thinking it's got some top-notch tunage...

Do you have chance to see them before it's over? I do not. I've not been a massive fan of them. But I've listened to them once in a while. It would be good to see the last tour. But unfortunetely I can't.

Bollocks! This is their last tour? And I was going to try and get tickets for it, then thought - well maybe if they've reformed, they'll tour again next year. Plus isn't it a tour for several artists on their label, so not just 3CR? A bit too much dosh and travel for about half hour of 3CR or whatever.
But bah. Fantastic band. Pure is still one of my all time fav albums. Absolute class.

They played for over an hour on Wednesday, but yes, it is a tour for artists on Mighty Atom (or whatever it is, it's a similar name to The Cakes label) but the other bands only get 1/2 an hour.

After Alex's post, I almost went and booked a ticket for their final Islington gig. I just about managed to stop myself however. Can't really afford it anyway at the mo.
A damn shame it's all over for them though.
I'm sure Danny will be busy with future projects, and maybe Pete can get himself another decent act to front. The others in the band... heck, I can't even remember their names, but good luck to them too.

I didn't realise until I just counted, but the number of songs they played from Pure on Wednesday, nine...not that I'm trying to make you go... :S
But yes, they did say they'd all be back in some form.

Interesting they play so many songs from 'Pure', but then it is basically a collection of rock anthems and crowd pleasers. They went off the boil with their overproduced follow-up.

I didn't realize 3 Colours Red still existeed (if only for a short while) I remember listening to them in my youth!
