*waves hand infront of Wedge's face*
These aren't the droids you're looking for
It wasn't just ok. It was amazing...

I finally saw this on Sky the over week.
Not particularly great was it. Right from the off, stupid over the top CGI, pointless roboty 'comedy' bits and even later on the script remains dire, especially with the ease and unconvincing way Anakin turns to the darkside. Natalie Portman is not only given awful lines, but she delivers them in the most wooden way imaginable. Blink and you'd think a tree in makeup was on screen. Truly her best performance was in Leon, and since then only her moderately nice looks have kept her in tinseltown.
Still it was nice to see the conclusion of the saga. I only wish it hadn't turned into a farce where over the top and rubbish CGI replaced a decent storyline and script. And acting. I suppose the originals weren't noted for their scripts either, but at least at times it was put together in a more convincing and human fashion.
I think movies relying on more than 10% of the screentime using CGI should be charged an extra special effects tax. That would sort out the cretins making movies.
