For the first time last week, I decided to sell a few things.
I thought my PSP + 3 games + 2 UMD's + 256MB Memory Stick would've been the first thing to go.
But no.
I sold a bit of wood for £40 and a book for £50.
The PSP sat there and waited.
So I changed the listing and added the Buy Now feature.
It was soon snapped up. By a Nigerian. That didn't pay and was removed from eGay.
I relisted it. Same thing happened.
Relist. Same thing.
Scamming Nigerian wankbags.
I put it back on yesterday and didn't bother to use the Buy Now feature again. I have, however, put a reserve on it. But still nothing. I didn't think it would be this hard to flog a PSP.
I contacted eGay about giving me back my cash for listing the item the previous 3 times. They're thinking about it.
There's not really a point to this thread.
I'm just saying.

eGay are good at refunding your money if you are skammed. You just need to fill in a non-paying bidder report.
As for your PSP you will probably find that lots of people are watching it with the intent to bid at the last minute.
What wood did you sell? 2x4?

A limited edition Element CKY deck.
No wheels.
No trucks.
No griptape.
Just a 24" x 7.5" 7-ply bit of wood!

Crivvens.
Do you have a low seller rating? Perhaps people are scared off. I imagine if you listed the PSP pre-Christmas, it would have gone for silly money. Or pounds sterling and lots of it.
I haven't sold anything on ebay yet - got not much to sell. A few old computer games and stuff might fetch a few fivers, and some pathetic Warhammer/Citadel minatures from my youth. I have however recently started my hat collection on ebay and now own 1 hat! A straw trilby so I can look like a nobhead in public without having to have it tattooed onto my face.

No, I'm keeping that one. Until I'm really desperate. I've just sold a signed Manchester United painting to a box holder at Old Trafford. It was given to me by my dad. He won it at an auction in 2001 for £3000. The company paid for it. I've just sold it for £1400. It's only worth about £800, so it's not too bad I s'pose. Collie, nice to see you've joined in with the hat collection. However, you have a long way to go before you can beat my mighty 5 beanies & 3 Yankies. In Hatland, I must be a God to you.

8 Hats? Well that's a fine tally. Actually if I include my Metallica beanie which I haven't yet burnt on a bonfire, I have 2 whole hats! Here's my hat, albeit not on my head. i7.ebayimg.com/03/i/06/03/b8/00_1_b.JPGI need a proper Trilby next. Then a bowler hat and fake tache so I can go into Cambridge city and do Terry Thomas impressions all day long whilst leering at the ladies.

I had one of those when I was 10.
I was on Perranporth beach. The wind blew. Took it right off mah little swede and carried it down the beach. As I ran after it, the wind took the piss and blew harder. I never saw it again.
I dread to think where it is now.
Some flashy hobo in Devon might have it.
Or a Dolphin.
Or a Pirate. Who often frequents Penzance.

Those blasted pirates of Penzance! There's probably one right now with your small straw hat on his head, and one too for his parrot on his shoulder. But fret not, he'll surely hang when he returns to port.

Collie - I reckon if you dyed your hair with a hat like that you could do a great J.R. Heartly impression.
What do you know about fly fishing?

I've had no bids on it yet. I may even take it off eBay. I don't really want to flog it, but it rarely gets used.
I might just sell the games and UMDs. Get something new.
