People like to watch.
Just a shame none of them speak.
Unless they are all sending private messages to Collie....

Yep, and I'm still feeling the pain of over induldging on that particular day. Ouch.
I've noticed over the past few months the 'most visitors on one day' has been creeping up. It's probably just spam harvester bots connecting multiple times or something that give the impression there's more users than their really are. I also remember in the past the odd occasion when you yourself Gargoyle seemed to leave a trail of extra visitors to the board somehow, possibly something to do with AOL back then.
I imagine the most number of people online here at any one time is probably still when Jon Lee died. The old site was getting a visitor every minute for about 36 hours and many came to this board. Twenty at any one time was possible at that time. Can't see how there could be more than that.

My "trail of visitors" were indicative of my multiple personalities!

That's the most interesting thing on here for a while. Do you think she just googled "10th June"?

It's a possibility. I tend to be a bit more obscure in my Google searches. I opt for '12.23pm saturday 11th of the month before my birthday' for example. The results are a bit rubbish though.

You know, if he came out of retirement...he could have a hit there.
He's just gotta lose the baggy pants.
And I don't mean stood there in the n00d.

Yea, I thought you said you were just popping out for a bit of fresh air and a pint of semi-skinned milk from the grocery store, and you ended up disappearing for ages. We're still waiting for those cups of tea and rich tea biscuits you were going to make us before you did your disappearing act.
