Oh look, a Christmas email from Feeder: 2005 HAS BEEN A GOOD YEAR FOR US. WE HAVE ACHIEVED SO MUCH AND THIS IS NOT JUSTBECAUSE OF OUR BELIEF AND LOVE OF DOING MUSIC, ITS ALSO BECAUSE YOU! THE FANS THAT HAVE GIVEN US THE SUPPORT AND ENCOURAGEMENT TO CARRY ON. WE ARE GREATLY LOOKING FORWARD TO NEXT YEAR,MAKING THE NEXT FEEDER RECORD AND NEW TRACKS FOR THE SINGLES ALBUM. HAVE A GREAT XMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR AND WE ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO THE RE-SCHEDULED SHOWS THAT ARE GOING TO BE BIGGER AND BETTER THAN THE ORIGINALS! CHEERS GRANT,TAKA AND MARK X RESPECT..............
Annoying thing number 1: Friggin' Xmas! It's Christmas! Annoying thing number 2: STOP SHOUTING! Looks like it was written by someone in a rush to get out the door and down the pub. All in all, 2005 has eroded much of my admiration for Feeder. The album was nothing to write home about - mostly tedious soft stuff for the young mum's of the world to lap up, and Grant's student look doesn't do much for the credible rock frontman image. I'm sure there's at least one good song left in them though. I've given up hoping for another great album.

I was listening to Comfort in Sound today. It's an alright album. Pushing the Senses, though, that is shit, I only listened to it once.

I've still not bought it.
But I might have to.
You know, because I've got all the others.
Pfft.
