We win award:
The little known specialist publication, 'What Chin Monthly Magazine' has bestowed a special award on us for highlighting excellent uses for 'abnormally large sized chins'.
The publication, bought primarily by those with large sized chins, but also by those interested in them, has a readership of at least 65 people a month, but the figure is rising all the time, according to editor and founder, 'Gregory Pinkington'. He says,
'What Chin Monthly Magazine' is the premier such publication in the entire world, containing more information on large chins than any other publication. Since it's creation in 1987, from a shed in my back garden in Plymouth, it has grown in size, quality and reputation, making it the most sought after chin source on the planet. It regularly features guest writers and celebrities with large chins, including Bruce Forsyth who had a special column from 1990-1994. He unfortunately stopped writing for us when cut backs in our budget meant we could no longer supply him with his 'dollies'.'
Regarding our award, Gregory says,
'I was thrilled when I stumbled upon your forum featuring Jimmy Hill and the feature, '101 uses for Giant Chins'. Jimmy Hill has long since been an ambassador for those with giant chins, paving the way for others with large chins, like myself, to be successful and confident about our facial extensions and to know we are not simply the butt of everyone's jokes. Our large chins are gifts, and that makes myself and others like me special.
Your excellent feature contains many practical and profitable uses for our over-sized chins that my readership simply adore and can not get enough of. In fact, one subscriber since 1988, Mrs. Baddiel of Greenwich, was inspired by 'Giant Chin Use number 13', and has advertised her own chin as a mobile venue for musical performances. She is currently in talks to host next year's 'BBC Radio 1 Roadshow'.
It is therefore my great privilege to award your forum the 'What Chin Monthly Magazine', 'Best New Giant chin forum June 2003.'
-----------
I am simply honoured to receive the award. It makes it all seem worthwhile.
Gregory Pinkington is offering a special reduced price subscription of his magazine to readers of this very forum. A one year subscription to 'What Chin Magazine Monthly' can be purchased for only £15 a year, £3 less than it costs to buy each issue separately. If you are interested in the publication, email him at: what_chin_monthly@hotmail.com , adding 'Disko.co.uk Offer' to the subject line.
------
That's all the news for now folks, enjoy yourselves and don't forget to add your own uses to the '101 uses for Giant Chins' thread. Who knows, you might inspire other people like Mrs. Baddiel.
