After listening to a few of my old CDs the other day, including 3 Colours Red, I decided to go to their website..... www.3coloursred.co.uk and downloaded some of their mp3s. I highly recommend anyone who likes post-punk rock (Britrock, or whatever other stupid moniker) to check out their music. Especially these tracks - Beautiful Day - Very OTT but good. God Shaped Hole - Amazing. WWW.SadIf - Also amazing. Also any of their A-side mp3s are worth downloading too. They really had some good singles. They're also touring again and have a new record deal which bodes well for them. Anyone got any other mp3 recommendations - and I don't mean illegal/P2P downloads. PS... Ain't it a shame that Mp3.com is no-more.

The official Filter website has 3 of their tracks to download.... www.officialfilter.com/music.phpBoth 'Take a Picture' and 'Welcome to the Fold' are decent enough, haven't listened to the other one though.

Oh well, you'll have to get your mp3s and porn from elsewhere I suppose. To everyone else, have a look at www.epitonic.comLast time I looked there were tons of mp3s to download, including a couple of Superdrag ones, although for some reason they're of crap sound quality. There isn't a great deal of mainstream music there, but there's plenty of chill-out ambient ones and indy rock.
