Here's the latest email from Feederweb.com .....
"Feeder played their first show this weekend at the Glasgow SECC. It was a fantastic start to this final tour with a comprehensive set list crossing their 10 year career. A brand new version of 'Comfort In Sound', the title track from the band's platinum selling fourth album, has been remixed by Mark 'Spike' Stent and is available exclusively at the shows, there are 500 limited and numbered singles available at each show! The single includes a must see live video and an animated video for Piece by Piece made by 2 design students. It was never released at the time. This will also be available as a paid for download through Feederweb on the 15th of December. We look forward to receive reviews and photos from the shows, please email info@Feederweb.com "
----------------
Notice the emphasis I've put on the 'paid for download'. It is truly shocking to expect people to pay for downloads, forcing the hardcore element to fork out for something that could be made free from a variety of sources if need be. The Piece by Piece video was actually available on a German version of the single if my memory serves me correctly. It is typical that we Brits (and everyone else) now have to pay for it.
Still, at least you don't have to pay to become a member of Feederweb...... yet.

Wey-hey! I just go back from seeing Feeder in Dublin and that 10 year history thing was rather inaccurate, I'm afraid. NOTHING from Swim, only 2 from Polythene (including Descend - nice!), a few from YWTS and Echo Park and practically all of Comfort In Sound. T-shirts were 23 euro (and looked terrible) but I got me limited CD thing - and the remix doesn't really add much to the song. Still, at least the gig itself was a riot! (Not literally)

Well 'Descend' was on 'Swim' first, and the band first formed in around 1992-3 so I suppose they might have just got away with the 'comprehensive set list crossing their 10 year career' statement. Just.

Ah, but they could've done even older suff - it wouldn't have made a difference to the crowd, who only seemed to know the Echo Park stuff (the twats) (except the hot chicks).
