You have a real theme for the eighties don't you. I'm presuming you were a child of that decade too?
Some of my fav songs from the Eighties.... These are some of the ones I can remember liking at the time, as opposed to now (which might explain the strange selection).
'The Theme from S-Express' by 'S-Express'. Terrific.
'Heaven is a Place on Earth' by 'Belinda Carlisle'. Don't laugh, it's brilliant.
'Smooth Criminal' - 'Jacko', (hopefully before he went whacko), also 'Thriller'.
Damn, I'm too tired to think of more at the mo, and especially of those Eighties songs I still like now .... which are numerous, and includes 'Baggy Trousers' by 'Madness.'

S-Express? uno, uno, uno dos tres quatre!
There are far too many good eighties songs to name here, but here are some:
We Want The Same Thing - Belinda Carlisle Gold - Spandau Ballet Take On Me - A-ha Video Killed The Radio Star - The Buggles (though technically it was '79) The Look of Love - ABC

Aha! No, not the band or whoever.
'Push It' - Salt n Pepper. ER-ET-ER-ER....ET ER ERERERERE ER, ERE ER ER.... type thing. Brilliant.
'Get out of my Dreams (Get into my car)' - Billy Ocean.
I liked the 'Chicken Song' by Spitting Image just because it was daft. As was the b-side about never meeting a nice South African.

Or NKOTB as the they became known. Hmm, that's an anagram of KNOBT.
I think they were big when I was just about to leave primary school, right on the turn of the 90's?

"Hold a chicken in the air, stick a deck-chair up your nose Buy a Jumbo-Jet, and then bury all your clothes Paint your left knee green, then extract your wisdom teeth Form a string quartet, and pretend your name is Keith."
Learn it, and recite it once a day, forever. That's just the first chorus by the way.
