Brief Plot - Two twats decide to stop a movie based on them from being made, because some people are taking the piss out on them on the internet, and well they have a bee in their bonnet about it apparently. Supposedly comedy, with more cameo appearances than in the average flick, all of them shite. Saw it yesterday, well, the last hour or so. The worst 'funny' movie I have ever had the misfortune of seeing. Aside from the weakest plot since 'Dude, Where's my Car?', if you take away the constant swearing and gay references and you're left with a product that makes 'You've Been Framed' look like comedy genius. Some people no doubt find it funny - mostly 5 year old urchins who think swearing is 'cool'. Also good to see Mark Hamill doesn't care that his career has gone down the shitter, his cameo is as crap as the rest of the film. / 10 (though might as well be /100)

I hate that term, 'stoner'.
Perhaps they identify with Jay in some way, although hopefully they don't swear as much. Not even the South Park movie has as much profanity. It gets so boring hearing him utter the f word for the hundredth time in a minute.
Another thing I hate is that Silent Bob looks a lot like Bill Bailey, except completely unfunny.

ok so not the best of films, but i have to argue with your comments about silent bob- he really is 'the man' and i would quite happily... no, i wont finish that sentence. but yeah, a good guy is bob.

How dare you....take that back!
I love every film made by Kevin Smith:
Clerks Mallrats Chasing Amy Dogma Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back
Can't say I'm looking forward to the next one though:
Jersey Girl
Starring J-Lo....unless they make her look like a complete twat in the film!

I saw some of Dogma, found that crap too.
JASBSB is awful though, through and through. I could never take that back. I'd rather watch 'Last of the Summer Wine' and that is saying something as that is the worst and least funny comedy series of all time. Although '2 Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps' comes a close second.
Any film with J-Lo in is worth missing, so along with Kevin Smith at the helm, that other movie has to be shite.

Chasing Amy is the only decent film by Kevin Smith. All the rest were GARBAGE.
Its been a while since i've seen Mallrats and I don't remember if it was good or not. A movie being completely "forgettable" is a bad sign.

I like Clerks and Chasing Amy. I actualy can't even believe that the first time i saw Amy i thought Ben Affleck was this great indie actor. Boy was i wrong on that one. Dogma is really the same thing a ton of other directors have done except dumber. I think we can all sigh in relief knowing that a lot of people hate religion including kevin smith. Jay and silent bob strike back is just Kevin's ultimate act of "selling out". How many big actors did he have to cast before it was officially a studio film? Well, now with Jersey girl he is now one of those directors with so much promise who no longer has a soul. I weep for the masses.
