Yes there is. We're either looking at later this year or early next year. Jean Gray comes back from the dead. Apparently, Gambit is in the third movie. I know that X-Men 2 ended with Pyro joining Magneto and Mystique, but I don't know if there's anyone else.

Jean Gray didn't really die. She's going thru a metamorphoses to return as the phoenix ...or something like. It's all in the comic book- so my friend tells me.

X-Men I: it was just rubbish. The only good character was Wolverine; that's the only one they made an effort with. Rogue featured too, but they turned Cyclops into a complete tit (when in the cartoon in the nineties he was pretty much the leader of the show) and the other 'heroes' were rubbish too. The plot was also crap, the super villians absolutely laughable and cheap (especially green jumpy man) and the fights naff. I thought it might be the first comic-book to movie that was actually any good, but no, it wasn't. Suffice to say, after the poor show of X-Men I, I've no interest in the sequel(s).

Saw X-2 the other day, and I thought it was awesome. Nightcrawler was fantastic, and apart from certain parts its all done really close to comics. I enjoyed it a lot more than the first one, and was impressed by the distinct lack of crap CGI we see so frequently these days. Looking forward to the third one, and am intrigued as to whether it reveals certain facts such as Nightcrawlers parantage etc...
