Just wondering if I'm imaginininining this, but did anyone see an ad over the weekend claiming that it was out to buy today?
No?
K.
Anyways, went to Asda at lunch to pick it up. Not there.
So I came away with Thin Lizzy's Greatest Hits and Ash - Meltdown.

My brother pre-ordered it and got it on Saturday. Result.
I kind of find Tarantino is a bit up his own arse and trying to be too clever all the time with Kill Bill. Especially with Vol 2. It's like he wants a movie that will be talked about in every film studies class. Pointless shots, obsession with Spaghetti Western music and camera angles, lots of long and arty farty poetic lines etc. And not a great deal of action compared to the first, but I didn't think too much of the first one either.
And bugger all extras of note. Not that I care for extras but if you're paying full price for a DVD you want something and not have to just wait for the Special Double Vol 1 & 2 DVD release out near Christmas or whenever to get all that extra content that apparently DVD owners love and hence will pay silly money for.
For the Disko.co.uk Records: I award Kill Bill Vol. 2 Six Hanzo swords and a chopped off hand out of 10.
