All diets are bad. Your body needs carbs and protein, so why deprive yourself? Studies have also shown that people who include dairy products in their diet actually lose more weight than those who don't. So drink your milk! Not to mention cheese is good for your teeth... I would never diet and i've always been thin. I believe "everything in moderation" is the key to staying slim. It's worked for me. Just 2 weeks ago I've incorporated leg weights in my day to day activites to tone my thighs but other than that I don't do any excercise. Advice: Never skip breakfast, if you do, your metabolism will be slow for the rest of the day. Excercise will boost your metabolism but I guess thats obvious.

Oh and the answer to whether Atkins works or not is Yes it does. In fact protein diets are the quickest way to lose weight but its not healthy for you and often the results are temporary.

I think you take two sizes off, so a UK 10 is a US 8, but I could be very wrong......

lol the reason I think I have put on weight is that i dont eat lol sounds stupid doesnt it but I will be eating more on atkins than I usually do, I skip breakfast, I skip lunch and dont usually eat much in the evenings, then maybe once or twice a week eat a normal sized meal and my body says food and stores most as fat lol following a diet even atkins will prob be better for me than the way I eat now, had breakfast today for the first time in years

ALWAYS EAT YOUR BREAKFAST It doesn't have to be breakfast food ...it could be a sandwich or fruit or whatever. Just don't skip it. Its bad. And yes, keep us informedonyour progress. I'll let you know if the leg weights work.

Why are you getting muscelly legs? Do you want to be a wresteller?

I don't want them to be muscelly, just toned. The back of my thighs need to be tighter. If i start to get muscles i'll have to stop the weights.
