It used to be in Los Angeles.
it means ex-local authority.
Do you know what that means?

Back in the day town councils built houses that poorer people could rent off them at a discount. A few years ago, some councils sold all their houses to Local Authorities who then managed the rental of them.
Residents of Local Authority houses have the option to buy them cheaply through a government scheme.
The people who owned the house before us used to rent it off the local authority, then they bought it off them, and then they sold it to us some, years later.
Some people are snobby and won't buy ex-LA houses because you obviously have some poorer people still renting houses in the neighbourhood.

I'm not snobby, but I wouldn't buy one. Only for the fact that we might end up living next door to retards! Like the ones we live next door to now.
I'm taking my time with the new purchase. I want to make sure everything is perfect. I already know what sort of street it is. And the neighbours seem quite civilised.

It's the only way we could get on the ladder where we live.
Our neighbours are comedy. They are really friendly and mow our lawn and stuff, but then they have these huge fights and storm out of the house at all hours!

I've been trying to think of a leaving present that I can give the twats next door...
Then I just think that I'm better than them and don't want to drag myself down to their level.
So, I suppose I'll just shit through their letter box when I leave.

I'm sure being the honest person you are that you told the person that is buying your house all about the neighbours?

When we went around to look at the house we are in now we didn't realise they had sent their kids out to the field near the house.
It was freaky when we were in the garden and there was just this kid in a tree staring at us.
It was like the village of the damned.

Does he still hang around in the tree?
If so, buy a pellet gun.

Gutten Tag.
Looks like I'm not leaving you lot after all.
I think I may have the pay rise I want.
So, it keeps me here in this cushy job doing feck all and getting paid wads and wads of cash for nothing..
