Holy spooksville Batman! Anyone believe in ghosts? I've always been sceptical, as any normal person is, but apparently there's some freaky shit going on in my house. My brother reckons he heard a lady singing a really old fashioned song coming from the wall in his bedroom the other day. He didn't say anything because he thought he imagined it. And then, last night whilst his girlfriend was round, they both heard the same eerie singing and the room went cold. It's an old detached house from the Victorian era and apparently when my family first moved in, a child could be heard crying sometimes. I hate spooky things, but I'm not too bothered as long as nothing goes on in my room, but *shudder* tis spooky all the same.
I used to think my room was haunted when I was younger (the room where the crying apparently took place) but I later put it down to a few sleep paralysis episodes. Anyone have any spooky stories or experiences of their own?

I beleive, though I can't say I have ever really had any experiences myself. I think it pays to be open.
You need to get Derrick Akourer (or however you spell it) round to your house.

I BELIEVE. I've had so many experiences with the paranormal. Just the other day all my china dishes flew out of the the kitchen cupboard and shattered onto the floor. Thats not common, right? ....At night certain lights in my house turn on and occasionally my bedroom fills up with a thick foggy mist and mind you, I live in the desert so you can't blame it on humidity. Things disappear only to reappear in an another part of the house. I could tell you so many more stories of my experiences but it would take all day. Plus, you'd think I was nuts! But I don't just believe places are haunted, I believe people can be haunted as well. Because every house I've ever lived in I've experienced supernatural activity. I can also feel a person's or place's energy (whether its positive or negitive, etc.) I think some people are simply more sensitive to the psychic side of their brain. Their "Sixth Sense" if you will.

It's kind of comforting to know you're never really alone...

I usually sleep with the radio on, so it's probably drowned out all of the spooky goings on around here...
